Sparkle Dollars has been around since 2007. Since I have been a member I have been impressed with their dependability of service. I have always been paid on time and they approve offers frequently through the day. Sparkle Dollars is what is known as a “Get Paid To” site. They pay you to complete surveys, register for sites, click on websites, or sometimes just simply input your email address. It is free to join and use. Sparkle Dollars is easy to navigate since it has the offers broke down in the drop down menu in categories for you to find the offer that fits your needs. Online Selling Tip: Do You Use Twitter to Promote Your Site or Product?

Twitter is becoming more of a promotional tool everyday. You can attract a large audience in a matter of seconds. The key to doing so is to have the proper following (audience). The first step to getting the right following is to create a profile on Twitter that will attract people that would be interested in your tweets (updates) by going under “settings“. Start by giving yourself a profile picture. You can either use a personal picture or a graphic that goes with your theme. Once you complete this, choose your profile background by clicking on the “design” tab in your profile.

On the “account” tab you can enter your homepage address, place your website, blog, or eBay store address here. Next you will see a space to give yourself a “one line bio”, Doing this you need to give a brief summary of what you are promoting. This will act as key words in the search function when people are searching for people to follow. After you have completed this step go to find people and search for people that would be interested in what you will be tweeting by choosing the “Find People” tab at the top of the page and then choosing “Search on Twitter” tab. There you will want to enter keywords to find people that match your search. For instance, If you are going to be promoting your blog that you are writing about parenting, you will want to search for words like mom, parenting, children, or kids. If you are selling collectables like beanie babies you will want to use the keyword beanie babies to find people who like them.

Ok now that you have set up your profile and started following others, start tweeting your updates on your sites and tweeting with others on their updates. On top of having a great profile and following others you will need to create a relationship with others on Twitter so that they will follow your updates that you post. No one will follow a one sided tweeter. One way to boost your following is to post a Twitter badge on your blog or personal website (eBay won’t allow this badge on about me page or store page). Your site followers will most likely choose to follow you for updates. You can also put a widget on your site that shows your tweet updates. Clixsense is a site where advertiser’s can come to get unique traffic for their website or blog. When you click on an ad to view you will get paid an incentive for your page view. I have been a member for awhile and have used it as a paid ad viewer and an advertiser and have success with using Clixsense. When clicking ads you will get paid 1 cent per page view. Sometimes you will find ads worth more but they are rare. All that you do is log in and go to the page labeled “Browse Ads” and click on a link to an ad. Then the ad will pop up in another window and a countdown clock will start for 30 seconds at the top of the page. When it is finished it will give you a prompt to close the window. It is so easy to use. You will get paid when you account reaches over $10. They send out checks once a month for what was earned the month before.

For a chance to win more cash for your account you can play the ClixGrid. Prizes range from 0.01 to $5. How you play is click on a square on the grid and another window will open. If you are a winner you will see a page that will tell you how much you won. If you are not a winner you will see an ad from one of their advertisers. You will have 20 chances daily on ClixGrid to win.
When you refer new members to Clixsense you will receive 0.01. If they refer someone that upgrades their account to premium status you will receive a bonus of $2. If your referral purchases any advertising, you will receive a 10% bonus.

Regular Membership is free but you can upgrade your account to premium status for $10. Clixsense also has a toolbar that you can download. They are soon going to add an update to the toolbar making it possible to see new ads when they are available to be clicked on. The toolbar is free and is available for all members.

If you have sites that you want more traffic on use Clixsense as a way to advertise it. You can either use your balance to convert to ad credits or you can use Google checkout and purchase advertising. I personally use it to advertise and have had good response. You can either choose for all members to see your ads or you can choose people with certain interest to view your ad. There is also an option where you can choose for your ad to be viewed by premium members only. This is definitely worth the money advertising.

Get-Paid-To Site of the Week: Disco Dollars

I joined Disco Dollars around 2 years ago and wanted to share why I like Disco Dollars with you. First thing to notice about the site is it is easy to navigate. The site is broken down by categories that are listed in the sidebar on the left. The top category listings are for your administrative needs such as your account info, place to click to contact the owner, place to check your inbox, and a link to the Disco Daily, link to the forum. The bottom category listings are the offers broken down in categories for easy viewing.

There are four types of offers available on the site. The first type of offer is the freebie offer, otherwise known as the PTS offer. These are offers that want you to either register, complete a survey, or simply enter your email address. The next type of offer is cash back shopping. To get cash back on Disco Dollars you will need to choose a store, that is listed in offer form, and make a purchase. You will then receive a percentage, that is listed in the offer, back. This percentage is based on your subtotal of the order. The next type of offer is the Paid-To-Click offer. The link for this is located in the main menu. Paid-To-Click pays you to click on banners that will take you to a website to view for a certain time period. Disco Dollars also offers an incentive match for any offers that you find on other get-paid-to site for more incentive. The owner will verify this and if possible she will match it or beat it.

On Disco Dollars you will see little disco balls that are an extra incentive on some offers. After you collect enough, you can go to the Disco Ball Prizes page and cash them in for things like a promo code (loaded with a cash amount to be added to your account), advertising, Redbook magazine subscription, mood ring, a specified amount of cash to be added to your account, and more prizes.

If you don’t mind completing surveys you can complete one of the daily survey’s and earn. If you complete 10 surveys all the way to the end in the month, you will be entered in a drawing for a $10 bonus to be added to the winner’s account. These surveys are located in the main menu section.

When you first go to the site you will notice a toolbar at the top of the page that has the option to register or log in. Some Tips On Being An Ebay Seller

Ebay is a great resource to bring extra cash into your life. With the economy in the shape it is in, having a side income is becoming more and more important. I personally have dabbled in Ebay and now I have decided to amp up my Ebay efforts. I have learned a few tips in my efforts and thought I would share them with you so that you can use them to better your Ebay efforts.

Tip #1: Have a PayPal account. It is the easiest no hassle way to get paid for all of your items you are selling.

Tip #2: Have a camera that will give you decent pictures that you post in your description of the items. Bad pictures or no pictures will hinder you from getting interested buyers. I just received my new digital camera in the mail the other day and I immediately listed a few items and see that I have been getting some hits on my items. The camera that I had before never could get clear pictures and I know my listings suffered because of it. You don't have to spend a lot of money for a camera, just get one that has a good rating and feedback from customers. I got mine off of a store on Ebay and even got free accessories with it for around $60.

Tip #3: Start to look for items that you can sell from inside your own home. If you are like most, you have a storage area full of things that you put away and have forgotten you had and unless they are sentimental, these items can attract buyers on Ebay. These things may have value on Ebay and can help start your selling.


Tip #4: Take advantage of the 10 day free trial at Hammertap. I just recently found this site from reading about it on Ebay Selling Coach. It is a market research tool for sellers on Ebay. What this means is it helps a seller by using their search tools to find specific information about how an item is performing currently on Ebay. What info will you receive when you join? It gives you the average selling price of the item currently, best day to start the auction, best day to end the auction, and links to all of the listings for the item.

Tip #5: Use a site like Auctiva to dress up your listings. It is a free to use site that offers Ebay listing templates to showcase your item that you are selling so that it is appealing to the buyers. It makes each listing look like it's own website. Check out one of my listings to see one of the templates that is available. I also like Auctiva because when you click on active listings under your dashboard it will give you a hit count on your listings so that you know which listings are drawing the most traffic.

Tip #6: Make sure you fill out your "About Me" page. If you don't this may turn buyers away from your items. You don't have to give out personal info just make sure you talk about what to expect from you service wise and product wise. Make sure you make it sound friendly and you can also add your blog or website address. There are some affiliates that you can list on your "About Me" Page such as Big Crumbs, Auction Add Ons, and Seller Sourcebook. These affilliates will be another way to earn.

Tip #7: Check stores like Dollar Tree or Big Lots for items to sell on Ebay. These stores get new stock several times a week. They are stores that have closeouts of merchandise at great prices.
When a popular item closes out it creates a big demand for the product on Ebay. It is important to visit these stores a few times a week to see what new stock they get in that might sell for profit on Ebay. Major name brands are usually the big sellers. I personally have my notepad open on my cell phone and make notes of new stock so that I can check Hammertap to see if it sells or not when I get home. Then if the products are bringing profit from sells then you can go make a purchase and immediately list the item so you can hit the sells of the product while it is hot.

Tip #8: Visit thrift stores and yard sales in your area and see what brand name items you can find. I have heard of sellers getting great deals from their local Goodwill store and making a nice profit from the sell of the item on Ebay. Look for antiques, Remington Blue Hot Rollers, designer clothes, and popular children's books. Nonfiction Authors sell great in lots if you can get a series together.

Tip #9: Make your listing description as thorough as posssible without sounding repetitve. Make sure you tell of any wear or tear of the item. List everything that comes with the item. Make sure that you list your policies for returns, shipping, and payment. That way there is no confusion if problems occur. make sure that everything is clearly stated.

Tip #10: Promote your listings in forums, stumble it, clixsense, or any other advertising method you can think of.

I am in no way an expert on Ebay but wanted to share these tips that I have learned along my way. Ebay can be a good source of extra income if you make an effort to maximize sales. If you have any other tips share them by commenting.

Since I started to Work-At-Home 3 years ago, I knew that I would need to get creative on ways to make extra cash. I started out by visiting forums and reading blogs about how others did it. I realized fast that there were many scams out there intending to prey on unsuspecting women that were trying to help their families income out. With much trial and error I have found a select group of sites that I lean on to make extra cash. I am going to break down the categories of sites that I use and for the next few days I will share them with you.

VOL. 1 Taking Surveys
This is definitely an area that you have to make sure you get reliable sites to use. There are many ads out there promising that you will make thousands every month for completing surveys, that is obviously a scam waiting for victims. No you won't make thousands or even hundreds, but you will make some extra cash as you go along. Here are some that have a great track record.

Say Nation Referral Code: 8614049927
This is a site that offers surveys for points. The surveys are easy to complete. Once signed up with the site, you will need to complete all of the profile surveys that are waiting for you. These are so that Say Nation will know what surveys you qualify to complete. You will receive notification of all surveys that become available by email. You can access the survey by clicking the link in the email or you can go directly to Say Nation and click on it from your list if available surveys. Each attempted survey earns you 25 points, even if it says that you do not qualify. Your points can be cashed in for prizes in the catalog. Things that are in the catalog are gift cards for numerous retailers (including amazon), gas cards, and gift type items. I am going to use this site to rack up Barnes & Noble gift cards to use for Birthdays and Christmas 2009.

Pinecone Research
This is a great site that pays you to complete surveys and try out products. I usually get a survey or two a month from them. They pay me once I complete a survey by PayPal. This is a survey site that I am happy to see in my inbox. I love the products that I have gotten to try that I would have otherwise not had the opportunity to. Pinecone Research is so popular, that they have to have enrollment days. To see if they are allowing new members, check Annika's Site to see if they are open to new members. If not, make not of her site and keep checking in.

Lightspeed Panel
Lightspeed Panel offers me around 2 to 3 surveys a week. For each survey completed you will receive points. The points can then be cashed in for PayPal transfers or gift cards. When you join you will receive profile surveys to complete so they can know which surveys you are interested in. You will receive your survey invites by email and then it will send you to log in to Lightspeed Panel's website to click on the surveys that are available.

IPSOS I-Say Panel
IPSOS usually invites me to around 2 surveys a week. Each survey that I complete I get points for that I can cash in for gift cards. There are other prizes like pre-paid calling cards and specialty merchandise. These surveys are moderately easy to finish. You will have profile questions to answer when you join so that they can give you surveys that you are qualified for.

BuzzAgent
This is a Word of Mouth product campaign site. What that means is that you receive products or discounts on products to buzz about it to your friends. When you join BuzzAgent you will answer profiling questions that will help them better understand the products that you will enjoy receiving and buzzing about. You will receive all of your invites to campaigns by email and you will then need to log in to read about the campaign and decide if you would like to take part in it. You are never obligated to taking a campaign. Once you receive the products then just use them and buzz about the product to your friends. After you do that log in and tell BuzzAgent about it. This is a fun site to be a member of.

ACOP (American Consumer Opinion)
ACOP offers me around 2 surveys per week. For all completed surveys you will receive credit to your account. Once you are ready to cash out they will send it by check in the mail. You will need to complete the profiling surveys so that they can send you all of the surveys that you are qualified for. These surveys are easy to complete.

EPoll
Epoll sends me around 1 or 2 surveys a week. Completed surveys earns you points that you can cash in for gift cards for places like Itunes, Target, Starbucks, and more. The surveys are easy to complete. You will need to fill out the profiling questions so that you can receive your surveys that you qualify for.

When joining a survey site it is wise to get a specific email address for all of them to come to. I have a gmail account that all of my surveys come to. That way that is the only one's that uses that email address and I won't loose any invites amount spam. After joining a survey site, invites might come slow at first till you get a few completed, don't get discouraged.

Do You know Any Great How-To's? Why Not Share It & Profit From It.

If you have Internet, cooking, cleaning, household maintenance, or any other How-To's, you can share them on a site called Ehow. You don't have to be a journalist or novelist to write a how-to for others to learn from. Ehow gets a lot of traffic everyday, in fact, I find myself going there daily for different how-to reasons. It is free to join and very easy to publish an article on. Just to show you how easy it is to publish an article I decided to break down the steps to entering a how-to, so here you go:

1. Join Ehow Here. Make sure you sign up for the Writer's Compensation Program so that you are eligible for making a profit on your articles. You will need a PayPal account in order to receive payment.

2. Once you have joined log in. Take this time to choose an avatar and update your profile.

3. Decide on a subject that you want to give a how-to on.

4. Do a search in the search bar for your topic and check out some of the how-to's that are already there so that you can refine your how-to.

5. Once you know exactly what you are going to talk about in your how-to, click write in the above tabs.

6. Now you will see the "Getting Started" screen. This is where you will give your how-to a title. When doing so, make sure it has keywords in it that will attract viewers.

7. On the "Getting Started" screen you will also have the opportunity to have an image that will represent your topic. If you don't have an image already, go to google and type "Free Royalty Free Image" and you should see a few sites listed in search. You can look for them for an image that targets your topic and save it to your computer. Then you will need to hit the browse button on the "Getting Started" page and click on the image. Next, don't forget to give credit for the image.

8. Next on the "Getting Started" screen is where you will rate the difficulty of your how-to. Rate it honestly.

9.Now write a brief description of what your how-to is. This description is what is seen at the top of your article. Make sure you explain the purpose for using the how-to, what the end result will be. Remember that it is the first impression that you are giving your readers.

10. Next write what they will need to complete the how-to.

11. Use the spell checker by clicking "Spell Check" under the brief description.

12. Click "Save & and Continue".

13.You will then be sent to the "Add Article Steps" page. This is where you will want to give a break down of how to complete the how-to. If you need to add or insert a step as you go there is a button that is visible that you can click to do so. When writing the steps, be careful to be clear and read each step over as you finish to check for any possible confusion.

14. You will then want to add any tips that you may have for your readers.

15. If you have any warnings for your readers, list them in the box at the bottom of the screen.

16. Use the Spell Check that is at the bottom of the screen.

17. Click "Save and Continue".

18. Now it will bring you to the page "Categorize It". Choose your categories wisely so that when searched for it can be easily found by readers. Think of these categories as keywords.

19. Add additional keywords by entering them under the category list.

21. Add additional resources where your readers can go to for more info on the subject.

22. Click "Save and Continue".

23. The next screen you will see is the "Publish It" screen. Click "Publish It".
