I Just Won 3 Swag Bucks!!!
My very first search of the day and I won 3 Swag Bucks. If you use search engines to find things on the internet, then you need to be a member. Swagbucks offers a Google powered search engine that randomly awards Swag Bucks for searches. You can redeem your Swag Bucks for prizes in The Swag Store. I use my Swag Bucks to cash in for Amazon Certificates, they are great to get all of the gifts that I have to give for the year with. Check it out HERE.
Oh How the Weather Changes
So it was a nice day with temps around 65 on Thursday and then on Friday temps quickly started on the decline to the 30's and now on Saturday we are suppose to get 3-5 inches of snow. I live 1 hour north of Memphis. Our weather always go from one extreme to another, but from 70's to snow in 48 hours. I just wanted to share it with all of you.

Do you have a Customer Service Background? Wark-At-Home for these Companies.
Have you ever searched the term “work-at-home” on the internet? If so, you know that the search will return a list that is bursting with scams and legit opportunities available on the internet are harder to find. When someone first starts out researching the work-at-home job opportunities they become overwhelmed, and most get frustrated and quickly vacate the notion of becoming a work-at-home mom or dad. I personally have been very lucky to have found a small local company, I know the owner, that I do all of the clerical work for out of my home (mostly data entry). If you are not lucky enough to find a local company to work-at-home for, there are some online companies that pay for customer service reps or virtual administrative assistants. I will advise you that most of these companies will require you to have high speed internet and a quite space in your home to answer calls. If you are a stay-at-home mom, schedule yourself to work when the kids are at school so that you can concentrate on your calls. Be prepared that these companies have a hiring procedure that can take some time to process. The majority of these will require a fee for a background check and/or drug test. Before you ask, “Why do I need to go through a background check?“, realize that these companies are intrusting a person whom they have never met to take information from their customers. Some of this information maybe addresses or credit card numbers, if you are taking orders. A background check is one of the only ways that they can make sure that you are trustworthy to take their customer calls. Don’t let the hiring process sway you from applying. This can be a great opportunity for you to get a reliable work-at-home job. When you check out a company make sure that you check out requirements for you to get the job and if there are any computer system or equipment requirements. Most companies have you purchase a headset, which are not too costly. Keep in mind that some of the links below maybe not hiring. Keep the link and check it often for any new jobs that become available.

My Menu Plan for 2/23 through 3/1
I decided that I am going to post my meal plan each week on Monday.
Monday- Grilled BBQ Chicken Wings (I grilled outside in the 30 degree weather, we really wanted these wings). My local meat market had a special on them, I paid $ 1.00 a pound
Tuesday- One Pan Pleaser - I bought ground beef at the local meat market for $1.80 a pound & already had my velvetta block, cream of mushroom, and frozen mixed veggies.
Wednesday- Hamburgers
Thursday- Cheese and Vegetable Chowder with cornbread - I already had all of the ingredients in stock in my pantry- This is a crowd pleasing soup- kids love it
Friday- Homemade Sausage Pizza- I use the Pillsbury Pizza crust in a can for this. I make my own marinade and my daughter likes pork sausage on her pizza's (Found Kroger Brand roll for 1.80 and used 1/2 of it)
Saturday- Pork Chops (Got this in my Feb. Angelfood Ministries Order) smothered in homemade gravy
Sunday- Fried Chicken (having company over), I already had some on hand from last shopping trip.
My meat market had a few good deals this week. Besides my local meat market, we have a Save-A-Lot, Kroger, Super Walmart, and Walgreens. I receive ads for Kmart (40 minutes away) and Schnucks (45 minutes away) that I also use to price match on items. Check out the highlighted recipes and click on Angelfood Ministries for more info.

Hi All!
This weekend has been so busy for me. We started spring cleaning in the house this weekend. Didn't finish but we are going to continue this week. My daughter had a birthday party to go to Saturday, so that delayed our cleaning efforts (I had forgotten about the party). I did get some shopping done this weekend and will share my savings later today with you. Well I got to get some work done for my work so I will post some more later. Till then.......

It has been a crazy week here. My work-at-home job dumped a little more work load than normal on me so I haven't been on the computer for personal use much. It is still a "work-in-progress" site but it is getting a good start. If you have anything that you do to earn extra cash leave a comment here to share it with the others.
Here are some freebies that I found online.
Pantene Shampoo
Starbucks VIA Ready Brew

My Morning Accomplishments
I started my morning at 5am this morning. I get up every weekday morning at that time, it gives me time to get everything rolling for the day. I first packed my daughter's lunch and then I got out my crockpot and started my dinner for the evening. My menu for tonight is Bacon-Wrapped BBQ Chicken with sides of sweet potatos (had already on hand), and green beans. This is a recipe that I found at $5 Dinners. This recipe is so easy to put together, and what is even better, it cooks in the crockpot. The only adjustment that I made to the recipe is that I used applesauce (had it already in the the pantry) instead of grated apple.
My daughter woke up and get dressed with good timing this morning, usually I have to give her a little push to get started. She fell asleep in the recliner last night around 7pm, maybe the hour extra sleep made the difference. This past weekend we had so much fun playing board games, watching movies, baking, and just being together. I did not get on the computer but once the whole weekend.
Today I am going to try to weed through my slew of emails and knock out some surveys that I have received notices on. Then I have to get some of my clerical work for my job done. It looks like it is going to be a hectic week for me, so bare with me if I don't post on one of the days.
Well, I better get started. Till my next post........

I received it today in the mail. I entered it a month ago and already have it. In the past I have received prizes from sweepstakes like Amazon gift cards, Jergen's Natural Glow Lotion, candy, and more. I use Sweepstakes Advantage to find all of the latest in sweepstakes (see the banner in the sidebar to check it out).
Do you use Coke Rewards?
I know that it is not a frugal thing to buy Coke Products, but my friends and family buy them a lot. I have about 5 people that save their caps and box codes and give them to me for my use. Once you have the codes it is easy to enter. You can either download a widget to your desktop to enter the codes directly at My Coke Rewards website. Currently you are allowed to enter 10 codes a day, but on Feb. 16th they are changing it to unlimited code entry up to 120 points a week. There are so many rewards that you can cash in your points to receive, like coupons, magazine subscriptions, t-shirts, gift certificates, and more. I recently have gotten the following prizes: 10 issues of Food Network Magazine , 12 issues of Better Homes and Gardens, 12 issues of Good Housekeeping, and a t-shirt. So I encourage you to tell your friends and family to save their coke product caps and codes so that you can rack up your points to enjoy the rewards Coke has to offer.

Did you know....
.....that when you go to the grocery store early in the morning (before 9am), you stand a chance at getting a great price on meat. Grocery stores mark down cuts of meat every morning so that they have all the meat out of the store around it's expiration date. I went to kroger yesterday and found pork chops that were originally marked $6.48 with my Kroger card marked down to $3.00. They were good looking chops and when I asked the person that was putting them out he said they had gotten an overload of the porkchops and were having to mark them down so that they made sure they sold them all. Their loss and the customer's gain. We had them last night and they were so good. Here is my families favorite pork chop recipe. It is one that my grandmother taught me with a few revisions that I made.
Ingredients:
4 Pork Chops (your favorite cut)
1 Tablespoon of Vegtable or Olive Oil (which ever you already have)
1 cup of chopped carrots
1 cup of chopped celery
2 cups of sliced or chopped Mushrooms (You can use the canned or fresh)
1 cup of chopped Onion
2 cup of Chicken Broth (I keep homemade chicken broth in the freezer)
2 slices of bacon
Salt & Pepper to taste
How to make:
Heat up a large skillet on medium heat. Salt and pepper your pork chops and put them in the skillet. Cook them till they are almost done. Remove the pork chops from the pan. You will now see the bits at the bottom of the pan, add the bacon in the pan and fry til it is crispy. Remove the bacon when it is done. In the drippings that are left behind, add all of your carrots, onions, and celery. Cook them til they are tender stirring occassionally for around 12 to 15 minutes. You will see how the veggies and the flavor goodness at the bottom start to incorporate. Once veggies are tender add your mushrooms and cook everything about 5 more minutes then add 1 cup of chicken broth to the pan. This will help to start the deglazing process of the pan. Let the liquid reduce some. The chicken broth will start to turn brown because of the flavor goodness that was at the bottom of the pan. Once the liquid reduces down some, add the rest of the chicken broth. Now let this continue cooking uncovered till it renders a smooth gravy like consistency. Once this complete it is ready to eat. We served this over white rice that I cooked in another pan. I seasoned my rice with butter and garlic. You can also serve this over mashed potatos. I put some rice down and then put a laddle of the sauce and veggies over it and then placed my pork chop down over that.
I wished I had pictures but my camera seems to have died. Going to get me a new one in a couple of weeks. I hope that if you try this your family will love it as much as we do. My 8 year old really likes it, so other kids may like it too.
