Southern Living Wants Your Dessert Recipe for The December Cover

Southern Living is holding a contest to get the winning recipe that will appear on the cover of their December issue and will win $1,000 and two runners-up will win $500 and their recipe will appear in the same issue. Below is a press release about the contest.

New York NY – Summer is in full swing, but Southern Living is dreaming of a white Christmas. The magazine is announcing a cover contest challenging readers to create their rendition of a white cake — and the winning recipe will grace the cover of the December issue of Southern Living and win $1,000. Two Runners Up will receive $500 and will have their recipes featured in magazine’s dessert story in December.

Kroger Deals 6/29 - 7/5

This week in Kroger Delta Region they have the Daytona 500 Buy 10, Get $3 Off Sale plus other great store deals. Make sure and download your e-coupons to your store loyalty card from Kroger Soft Coin, Cellfire, Shortcuts, and Upromise as they sometimes have coupons that are not available in the paper.

The Kroger Delta Region doubles coupons (that don’t exclude doubling) up to $0.60.



Important e-coupon info: Kroger currently does not allow you to use an e-coupon and manufacturer coupon on the same item. To keep from this happening, you can delete that item from your e-coupon list (except on Cellfire) or you can give your store loyalty card after the coupons are scanned and it will ensure that your e-coupon will not take off anything.


Below you may see several coupons available for items. I show all the coupons that I am aware of for the products so if you don’t have one, you may have the other. I am in no way saying you can use more than one coupon on one item. I just want to give you options.

Go See Monte Carlo When It Opens July 1st

My daughter is a HUGE Selena Gomez fan, and is upset that Wizards of Waverly Place is ending. When she heard about the movie Monte Carlo, she immediately started begging to see it. Of all the kid actors that are out today, she is one that I can stand to sit and actually watch and enjoy with my daughter. So I have made a solemn promise that we are going to see it on the first day it is open. The movie sounds like it will be a good romantic comedy and has a great cast. The movie is about a girl named Grace, that along with her step-sister and best friend, goes on a trip that they will never forget to Paris. As Grace gets mistaken for a heiress, their trip turns into a dream vacation.
